What payment methods do you accept? ▼

Prezivio accepts all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover). You add your card securely during account setup, and it's charged automatically after each confirmed session.

Am I charged before or after the session? ▼

You are only charged after the session is complete and confirmed by both you and the provider. Your card is never charged for a session that hasn't happened. You'll receive an itemized receipt immediately after payment.

Does Prezivio charge me a platform fee on top of the hourly rate? ▼

No. The 15% platform fee is deducted from the provider's earnings — it is not added to your bill. You pay exactly the hourly rate multiplied by the session duration, and nothing more.

Why do rates vary between providers? ▼

Each provider sets their own hourly rate based on their certifications, experience, and the services they offer. Providers with advanced certifications (CNA, HHA, RN) typically charge higher rates reflecting their training. You can compare providers before booking.

What if a session runs longer than expected? ▼

If a session runs over the agreed duration, the additional time is billed at the same hourly rate. Both you and the provider must confirm the final session length in the app before payment is processed, so there are no surprise overcharges.

Is there a minimum session length? ▼

The minimum session length is 1 hour. This is significantly lower than traditional home care agencies which often require 3–4 hour minimums, making Prezivio much more flexible and cost-effective for shorter care needs.

Does insurance cover Prezivio services? ▼

Some long-term care insurance policies and Medicare Advantage plans may cover home care services. We recommend checking with your insurer directly. Prezivio can provide itemized receipts to support reimbursement claims.
