Common pricing questions

Are there any membership or subscription fees?+
No. Prezivio has zero membership fees, zero setup costs, and zero monthly subscriptions. You only pay when you book and complete a care visit. Creating an account is completely free for both seniors and providers.
When is payment charged?+
Payment is only processed after a visit is completed. Your card on file is charged automatically via Stripe at the conclusion of the visit based on the actual hours logged. You will receive an itemized receipt via email immediately after.
What payment methods are accepted?+
Prezivio accepts all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) through Stripe's secure payment platform. Cards are saved securely and never stored on Prezivio's servers directly.
Does insurance cover Prezivio services?+
Some Medicaid and long-term care insurance plans may cover in-home care services. We recommend checking with your insurance provider. Prezivio provides detailed billing receipts that can be submitted to insurance companies for reimbursement consideration.
What is the cancellation policy?+
Visits cancelled more than 2 hours before the scheduled start time incur no charge. Cancellations within 2 hours of the visit may incur a partial fee to compensate the provider for their travel time. Providers who cancel are subject to rating penalties.
How is mileage calculated for trips?+
Trip mileage is calculated using GPS tracking from the point of departure to the destination and back. You will see a pre-trip estimate before confirming any trip booking. The final charge is based on actual GPS-logged miles at $0.70 per mile.
